My Bio

Hello! I'm carrotycake and I'm a hobby artist/writer from Scotland! I don't have as much time for art and stuff these days (thank you, Real Life) but I draw when I can. I am probably more active on the other social medias, but I like dA because it feels more like a portfolio where I can show off my art. (I'll keep my rant about the fleeting nature of art on twitter for another day)

Anyway, currently I'm really into Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Star Wars, and Final Fantasy XIV. My interests tend to change with the wind but those ones are solid and also the ones I draw for the most! I also really love video games and cartoons so art for other stuff may appear from time to time too. My OCs pop up occasionally as well.

but anyway it's time for an update! (is it? i think it is anyway... ) I'm heading back to university on Sunday, and whilst i'm looking forward to the new semester and all my new classes etc. etc. this is the year where it actually starts to count, and to be honest I have no idea how I managed to get into third year - and even then i scraped by. Phew my semester at uni is finally over, and I'm so glad! Honestly I've been stressing for weeks and weeks now, what with essays and deadlines and final exams due, so I'm happy its over.... (^me rn) This also gives me more time to draw, hurrah! I feel like I've been really absent lately...i've been posting some quick stuff over the last few weeks, but now it's the holidays I've finally got time to hopefully work on some cool things... ;) I'm also going to be heading home over the holidays, which is good because I'll finally be reunited with my good ol' PS3 which I've missed all semester...partly because it was diagnosed with the yellow lig
